Step 5 - Applicant is offered a unit

If there is a suitable unit vacant and you wish to move right away, you will be called as soon as the Board of Directors makes its decision to offer you a unit. If no unit of the size and type you require is vacant, you will be offered one when you reach the top of the waiting list. In most cases, you will be offered a unit about two months before it becomes available. You will have the opportunity to view your unit.

As acceptance of the unit, you will sign a "Unit Selection Agreement". A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at this time to hold the unit for you. This deposit goes towards payment of your first month's housing charge. You will be given a copy of the by-laws, a "move-in kit" and other materials.
